Tornado!

Well, last night was definetly one of those nights when I miss the mild weather of California. Around 8:00 PM we had tornado warnings on the radio. These are fairly common so we weren't too concerned at that point. Eric and the kids and I were upstairs installing a ceiling fan when all of a sudden the sirens went off. We ran to the window and could actually see a funnel cloud in the distance. So, we trooped down to the basement and waited out the worst of it for a little more than an hour. Finally the tornado moved/disapated and we put the kids to bed. We lost our power around 8:20 and we finally got it back on this morning at 4:30 AM. There is quite a lot of damage in town and we are expecting more severe weather today...FUN! :)
On a more lighthearted note, the pics above are of Finnegan eating a bowl of mashed potatoes. He CAN use a spoon...just chooses not to!
