Cake and a sleeping Griffin...life is GOOD!

Last night Bonnie and I did our Visiting Teaching for the month. We had been pretty lax about getting it done, so we invited our three women to come over to my house for a lesson and food. We may have gone overboard with the refreshments though...olive hummus dip, artichoke dip, homemade salsa, mini egg salad sandwiches, and two cakes. I made cute little veggies out of candy for the top of the cakes...a carrot for the carrot cake and peas in a pod for the chocolate cake. My kids loved this idea and are now willing to eat "veggies"...as long as they are of the candy variety! Our message went well, the food was devoured, and now we are planning for the next month!
El Diablo decided to fall asleep on the floor and it was too cute to pass up. He still likes to sleep with a blanket on his face, so I will post a pic of him awake and smiling later! Have a wonderful Thursday!
